Brad Fittler drops Origin selection bombshell
Three debutants and five from '22 named in Blues squad
Brad Fittler has named three debutants and five players from 2022 in his New South Wales squad for State of Origin Game 3.
The Blues coach has sprung a selection bombshell, with a number of big names missing from the team.
Penrith halfback Jarome Luai has been recalled to the side, while Canberra's Jack Wighton and Parramatta's Junior Paulo have also been named.
The three debutants are Newcastle's Daniel Saifiti, Cronulla's Cameron Murray and South Sydney's Latrell Mitchell.
Fittler said he was confident in the squad he had selected.
"We've got a good mix of experience and youth in this squad," Fittler said.
"I'm confident that we can go out there and get the job done."
The Blues will need to win Game 3 to avoid a series whitewash.
The match will be played at Stadium Australia on July 12.
