  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the syrup thickens slightly.

Making the Kesari:

  1. In a large pan or kadhai, melt the ghee over low heat.
  2. Add the semolina and roast it on a low flame, constantly stirring, for 5-7 minutes, or until it turns a light golden brown.
